As a Business Systems Analyst at GDIT, your work will help bridge business needs and technology solutions that support mission-critical outcomes for USPS. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited College/University is required. - If the candidate does not possess a relevant four-year degree, an additional four years of relevant work experience will be required. - 6+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience. - Minimum 6 years’ experience in IT. Requirements - Strong experience with systems supporting business functions related to Warehouse Management and Inventory Management. - Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices. - Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum management tools such as VersionOne. - Familiarity with Incident and Change Management tools such as ServiceNow. - Ability to write a test plan covering multiple inter-related objects in a dynamic test environment. - Ability to write test scripts fully covering specific objects and executing those test scripts within a larger test plan. - Ability to coordinate individual test script execution within a medium to large team. - Use of Office Applications to document and communicate work efforts and test results including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio. - Strong testing experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports. - Strong SQL skills for validating data, building test scenarios, and supporting defect analysis. - Familiarity with Apache Kafka—understanding of message flows, schemas, and how data moves between systems. - Experience validating API behavior, request/response structures, and integration rules. - Strong Project Analyst Skills. - Strong analytical skills in resolving issues and problem solving. - Strong organizational skills. - Strong time management skills. - Strong oral, written and communication skills. - Knowledge of Project Life Cycle. - Ability to interact with teams and senior management. - Team leader or supervisor experience. - Ability to write and execute test scripts. - Ability to write and execute test plans. - Experience in application, functional and performance testing. - Working knowledge of one or more of the following qualifications: DevSecOps, Agile Scrum, VersionOne or equivalent Agile project management software, Knowledge of and experience with SDLC / TSLC practices. • Define and own the enterprise data architecture strategy across operational, analytical, and AI/ML workloads • Design and govern data models, data contracts, and canonical schemas used across product and platform teams • Establish data retention, archival, and deletion standards aligned to regulatory and business requirements • Act as a technical advisor and escalation point for complex data architecture decisions across teams

• Technical management and design review preparation and conduct. • Requirements analysis and derivation, performance prediction, allocation of system-level requirements to lower-level requirements, and requirements management. • Responsible for helping to manage the technical performance of a program team which may include multiple small teams (5-10). • Plan out and lead the incremental development of upgrades and system improvements. • Supports managing the cost & technical performance of a medium to large program team, or large subcontractor. • Prepares and maintains project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed, and project quality expectations are met. • Support and motivate the team to deliver customer milestones and deliverables to meet program business plans. • Interfacing with management, suppliers, customers, and members of the technical design team. • Provide timely and effective communication to management and customers. • Engineering activities associated with design, development, procurement, and testing. • Provide technical and functional leadership for assigned Components, Projects, Teams and Tasks. • Plan and maintain detailed schedule and resource plans. • Lead Technology Development programs guiding products through Technology Readiness Level process. • Understanding and demonstrating adherence to the FACE and DO/178 technical standards. • Lead system development teams to understand, analyze, and develop the models, requirements, software, and designs using enterprise standard tools, processes, and industry best practices. • Lead systems engineering execution and troubleshooting for complex embedded software applications, hardware, LRU’s, and system of systems environments. • Ensures the development and management of technical risks and develops and executes mitigation plans. • Establish trusted and influential relationships with customers, support staff, and suppliers. • Mentoring and development of more junior engineers. • Ability to travel domestically (up to 20% of time)
