Job Requirements
- A Masters in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in chip design, specializing in SOC integration and design automation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in RTL design (Verilog), verification (UVM, System Verilog), System-On-Chip design/integration flow, and design automation
- Strong coding skills in Perl, Python, or other industry-standard scripting languages
- Experience in synthesis and physical design is a plus
- Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities - Data Center Heat Rejection and HVAC System Design: - Developing and designing Heat Rejection and HVAC systems specifically tailored for data centers. - Considering factors such as type of cooling requirement, associated cooling loads, future flexibility, airflow management, humidity control, system redundancy, energy efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. - Cooling System Selection: - Selecting appropriate air/water side cooling systems for data centers based on specific cooling requirements. - Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis: - Conducting internal CFD simulations to optimize airflow distribution and ensure efficient cooling. - Preparing and/or directing preparation of models and analyzing results to recommend design modifications. - Redundancy and Fault Tolerance: - Designing HVAC systems with redundancy and fault-tolerant features to ensure continuous operation. - Heat Load Calculation and Capacity Planning: - Performing heat load calculations for data centers to determine cooling requirements. - Conducting capacity planning to ensure the HVAC system can accommodate future expansions. - Energy Efficiency and Sustainability: - Implementing energy-efficient HVAC design strategies to minimize energy consumption. - Air Quality and Filtration: - Ensuring the data center's air quality is maintained at optimal levels by designing appropriate filtration systems. - Coordination with Electrical and Mechanical Systems: - Collaborating with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate the heat rejection and HVAC system seamlessly. • Develop and support FPGA designs using VHDL for safety-critical aerospace applications. • Implement and modify RTL designs supporting communication protocols, memory interfaces, data management, processor interfaces, and related digital functions. • Perform FPGA design activities including simulation, synthesis, place and route support, timing closure, pin-out definition, and design constraint development. • Troubleshoot RTL design issues using simulation environments, debug tools, and structured root cause analysis. • Support I/O timing analysis and resolve timing-related design challenges. • Develop and maintain DO-254 related documentation, including requirements, design descriptions, design specifications, traceability documentation, and supporting verification artifacts. • Collaborate with systems, hardware, verification, and project engineering teams to ensure design intent, requirements, and implementation remain aligned.
