Loan Officer Assistant

BBB Midwest Plains

• Support Loan Officers throughout the loan lifecycle, from application through funding • Serve as a borrower contact, collecting documentation and providing timely updates • Prepare, deliver, and track required disclosures and redisclosures • Review loan files for completeness and identify missing or outstanding conditions • Deliver appraisals and property valuations to borrowers when required • Maintain accurate loan records within the LOS and CRM • Identify and escalate issues that could delay closing • Help improve borrower experience through responsive, proactive communication

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of mortgage industry experience supporting Loan Officers, Processing, or Operations
  • NMLS licensed or have the ability to get licensed
  • Experience with business purpose lending (DSCR, Non-QM, investor, or bank statement loans) preferred
  • Strong understanding of the mortgage origination process and loan documentation
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Experience with mortgage technology platforms (LOS, CRM, and Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to manage multiple loan files in a fast-paced environment
