Learning Consultant

• Manage the delivery of service engagements for Skillsoft clients • Work with account teams to focus on customer specific program needs. (E.g. engagement with stakeholders throughout the customer enterprise for analysis and alignment of learning solutions, aligning content to competency models and training needs, custom reporting and trend analysis to support value measurement, change management to support learning adoption, marketing and communication to support solution awareness, complex global roll-outs, etc) • Act as a liaison for Skillsoft and provides a communication point of contact as it relates to the customer’s service engagements within the parameters of the contract • Conduct and participate in customer meetings virtually to collect and understand customer business needs around those services provided • Keep up to date on course/curriculum offerings, changes to certification tracks, newly released versions of Percipio and Skillsoft products to inform customer of appropriate changes as required • Keep up to date on L&D industry trends and best practices to align with customer’s goals and business priorities • Develop and maintain detailed project work plans, completing all deliverables on time and in scope • Evaluate project risks and raise to management in order to develop contingency plans and to respond to change in risk factors as the project progresses • Communicate project status on a weekly basis to management and account team, maintaining a repository of meeting minutes and project issues • Escalate issues that impact client relationships to Skillsoft management and internal resources for resolution • Pursue understanding of the customer's business and learning priorities and goals as the basis for consulting and recommendations • Participate and follow through on professional development opportunities as they arise • React to change productively and undertake other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a practitioner of learning facilitation, leadership development, learning ROI metrics and measurement, and/or learning strategy with a University degree or commensurate experience
  • Strong experience with virtual and collaboration web tools
  • Advanced level of desktop application skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Access) with ability to learn new technologies and applications quickly as new application skills are required for the position
  • Experience or familiarity with the computer-based training market
  • Familiarity with LMS or LCMS platforms, and preferably the integration of learning content with LMS platforms
  • Understand foundational principles of adult learning and development and the effective application thereof
  • Experience with applying L&D theories and methodologies with the ability to share recommendations, best practices and guidance for a variety of unique customer needs
  • Ability to analyze data to derive meaningful information, insights and provide recommendations that align to the customer’s goals. The ability to recommend data combinations/slices to best illustrate and track a customer’s progress towards learning goals
  • Bring excellent customer service and facilitation experience
  • Strong project management, time management and organizational skills
  • Be a team player and a strong relationship builder
  • Ability to conduct business in a virtual environment, working with multiple virtual teams.

Role Description The Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) is an independent organisation dedicated to exposing human rights violations, disinformation and harms against women and minorities. We achieve this through open source research, digital investigations, capacity-building with local partners, and collaboration with media to amplify our impact. CIR was born out of a determination to expose those spreading harm – online and offline – around the world, particularly in areas of violent conflict, such as Afghanistan, Myanmar, Sudan and Ukraine. Our projects are at the forefront of efforts to investigate and document human rights abuses, war crimes, and harms against women and minorities. We work closely with multilateral and national justice accountability bodies. Qualifications - Proven track record in OSINT-driven investigations, including using geolocation and chronolocation techniques, as well as social media monitoring. - Demonstrable experience supporting CSOs in conducting digital investigations is highly desirable. - Prior experience conducting OSINT research on Sudan and/or East Africa. - Fluency in Arabic at C1 / Professional level proficiency. - Proficient in satellite imagery analysis, with experience in using tools such as Planet. - Extensive experience delivering OSINT training and mentorship, both in-person and remote (ranging from beginner to intermediate/advanced topics). - Ability to work independently, including time management and prioritisation of tasks. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical terminology for lay audiences. - Willingness to engage in travel to deliver capacity building and training in-person. Role Description The principal objectives of this post are to facilitate online tutorials for one or multiple modules of the RCPI Professional Diploma in Healthcare Leadership, moderate online learning activities and mark assessments. This role involves 2-3 hours per week for the 8 weeks of a module, plus marking of all module assessments. Tutorial format: - Hosted online - Learners assigned to tutorial groups - Delivered weekly to a defined curriculum In advance of the commencement of each module, tutors will participate in a series of onboarding activities to prepare them for the delivery of the tutorials. Each tutorial group will have access to a discussion board. Moderation of this discussion board will be the responsibility of the Tutor. Responsibilities of Role - Complete online onboarding and attend briefing sessions before each module. - Contextualise standard tutorial templates and resources for the tutorial group. - Facilitate tutorials as per agreed schedule. - Contribute to, and moderate, tutorial group discussion boards. - Forge relationships with learners, encouraging their interaction at tutorials and within their peer group. - Monitor learner progress, attendance and identify potential learners in difficulty, monitoring any shortfalls in attendance and engagement. - Mark all module assessments submissions in a timely manner and provide learners with constructive feedback. - Participate in standardisation and moderation meetings for assessment at the end of each module. - Ensure that all Royal College of Physicians of Ireland policies and procedures are adhered to. - Other duties as may be assigned by the Education Function.
