Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with experience in electrical and distributed energy infrastructure projects. This role supports the development of accurate, competitive, and strategic cost estimates across microgrid systems, solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), generator installations, EV charging infrastructure, and associated power distribution systems. The ideal candidate has experience estimating construction, maintenance, and commissioning scopes and is comfortable working across multidisciplinary electrical projects. This position works cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and external partners to deliver well-qualified proposals that balance competitiveness, technical accuracy, and risk management. Pay: $80,000 - $120,000 The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Qualifications - 3–6+ years of experience in electrical or energy infrastructure estimating. - Experience interpreting electrical, civil, and structural drawings. - Working knowledge of distributed energy systems including solar, BESS, generators, or power distribution. - Experience estimating construction projects and/or maintenance/service contracts. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally. - Ability to travel up to 25–30% for site visits and pre-bid meetings.
