Business Development Manager
Virtuos
• Develop pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales targets but overcoming customer obstacles and communicating well internally. • Manage salesforce process and pipeline for respective assigned area. • Manage existing accounts effectively and strategically to increase revenue and strengthen the overall relationship. • Evaluate opportunities in cooperation with production department, formulate proposals, negotiate and close contracts. Handle clients’ on-site visits and due diligence process. • Account Management: Ensure after-sales coordination: hold regular calls or meetings with clients to monitor satisfaction and anticipate on their needs. • Responsible for the appropriate use of communication and sales systems and processes to ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reporting and forecasting. • Overcome competitive threats. • Represent Virtuos at key industry events. • Work with the Director of Business Development (Europe) to better facilitate cross-region communication & collaboration. Spearhead efforts to establish standardized channel, cadence, and methodology for routine updates across geographies. • Work with the Director of Business Development (Europe) to establish a greater network of non-profit/charitable organization contacts. Evaluate how Virtuos can play a more supportive role of charitable organizations within Europe.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 - 4 years' similar industry-related business development experience
- Ability to work with direct and external partners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- English (both written and spoken) proficiency
- Fluency bilingual (French and other languages an asset)
- Willing to travel for work

• Own the full capture lifecycle for priority opportunities, from early shaping through proposal submission and closing contract awards. • Develop and execute capture plans, including win strategies, competitive assessments, teaming strategies, and pricing analysis. • Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders, program offices, and decision-makers across target customers. • Engage across customer personas early in the acquisition cycle to shape requirements in alignment with Anura's capabilities. • Represent Primordial Labs at industry days, demonstrations, conferences, and customer meetings, articulating our value proposition with authority and clarity. • Maintain a deep understanding of the defense acquisition landscape, relevant contracting vehicles, and program funding cycles. • Track competitor activities and emerging customer requirements to inform capture strategy and product roadmap. • Identify and evaluate new market segments and adjacencies aligned with Anura's platform capabilities. • Partner closely with engineering and program management to ensure proposals and customer commitments are technically sound and deliverable. • Contribute customer and market insights to inform product roadmap priorities and go-to-market strategy. • Support proposal development efforts, including writing, review, and coordination with any teaming partners.
