• Define and drive solution architecture for enterprise applications • Lead technical design activities and support implementation across distributed teams • Contribute to modernization and evolution of complex legacy systems • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure and high performing • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders • Support delivery throughout the full software development lifecycle • Promote engineering best practice and architectural standards across teams
Job Requirements
- 7+ years' experience in enterprise software development and architecture
- Strong Java background (Java 11/17, Java EE / Jakarta EE)
- Database design and development expertise (PostgreSQL)
- Eclipse RCP, SWT and JFace
- WildFly Application Server
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Maven and Azure DevOps (advantageous)
- Understand software architecture, object-oriented design principles and design patterns
- Lead modernization of legacy systems and technology roadmaps
- Comfortable working with geographically distributed teams
