• Play a critical role in shaping how our Strategy team partners with leaders across the business to solve complex, high-visibility problems. • Bring structure and insight to complex, ambiguous challenges, helping teams make high-leverage decisions. • Collaborate closely with leaders across Product, Growth, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to size opportunities, assess impact, and inform strategy. • Contribute to forward-looking initiatives that influence Canva’s company-wide goals and long-term direction. • Build revenue models, evaluate trade-offs, and quantify the potential impact of strategic initiatives. • Translate data into clear, actionable insights that empower stakeholders to make confident choices.

Job Requirements

  • Advanced SQL Competency: Expert-level skills in SQL, with experience in data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
  • Experience in data storytelling and stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with the way a tech company operates and some of the concepts particular to our industry (e.g. growth accounting, product funnels, designing analytic events, etc.)
  • Experience with R or Python, and have dealt with large datasets before.
  • Familiarity with subscription-based business models and product led growth models.
  • Hands-on experience with integrating AI solutions into data analytics workflows is a strong plus.
  • Excited by solving business problems with data from impact sizing and opportunity modelling to enabling leadership decisions.
