You will manage a team of engineers focused on infrastructure, platform services, and developer experience, while driving initiatives that enhance reliability, security, and AI-powered capabilities. The position blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic planning, enabling you to shape the architecture that serves millions of users and handles complex, high-stakes financial data. Lead and grow a team of engineers across Infrastructure, DevOps, and SRE, setting priorities, coaching talent, and hiring as the team scales. Own the roadmap for infrastructure reliability, developer experience, and AI enablement across multiple products. Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure shared platform services including authentication, audit logging, and observability. Drive evolution from monolithic systems to modular, service-oriented architecture, enabling multi-product expansion. Establish and promote platform thinking, production readiness, and responsible AI adoption across teams. Deliver measurable improvements in engineering velocity and operational efficiency through tools, CI/CD pipelines, and platform capabilities. Communicate the long-term technical vision and strategy to align engineering teams and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on infrastructure and platform engineering experience, building, debugging, and operating production systems.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP, or AWS/Azure), observability tools (Datadog, Sentry, or similar), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
  • Experience designing or scaling shared platform services, internal APIs, or service frameworks, ideally in environments moving from monolith to service-oriented architecture.
  • Knowledge of enterprise-grade security, governance, and compliance requirements (experience in regulated or financial contexts is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to turn ambiguous technical challenges into prioritized, actionable plans.
  • Excellent architectural judgment and the ability to balance long-term vision with pragmatic short-term solutions.
  • Bonus: Experience in crypto, fintech, or systems where data accuracy and uptime directly impact users’ financial well-being.
  • Mission alignment, strong communication skills, and ability to inspire trust and collaboration across teams.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary: $264,000 – $297,000 USD, plus equity in the company.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) plan and life insurance.
  • Paid time off and flexible vacation policy.
  • Opportunity to lead a globally distributed, high-performing engineering team.
  • Professional growth, mentorship, and influence over strategic infrastructure decisions.
  • Remote work flexibility with resources to support productivity and collaboration.
