Kickstart Accounting, Inc.

• Lead client calls, present tax returns and strategies to clients. • Prepare accurate tax returns for LLCs and S Corporations, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. • Collect, organize, and input financial data into tax software, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and strong initial relationship. • Work closely with our bookkeeping team to ensure accurate financial reporting and seamless tax preparation.

Job Requirements

  • 3 + years of tax preparation, particularly with LLCs and S Corporations.
  • Must have client-facing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field required

Role Description As a Real Estate Tax Advisor at our firm, you will primarily focus on tax planning and advisory services for real estate investors who own and manage properties and invest in real estate syndications. Generally, Senior Advisors will spend 50% of their time in direct client meetings via Zoom. Tax Advisors will also provide technical input on tax and accounting issues, research tax solutions, train less-experienced staff, and nurture client relationships. Annual Salary + Bonus Starting at: $110,000 Areas of Responsibility - Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring their best interests are represented, with up to 50% of time spent meeting with clients via Zoom. - Create and deliver tailored tax plans to clients, and update those plans periodically. - Maintain strong client relationships by managing their expectations, being responsive to their communications/emails, and reaching out proactively. - Research complex tax issues, citing the Internal Revenue Code and supporting sources, and provide recommendations for resolution. - Coordinate the client's tax preparation needs with the tax preparation team, and assist with client communication during tax season to ensure proposed strategies are implemented. - Remain updated on changes in tax laws and procedures.
