Full TimeRemoteTeam 11-50H1B No Sponsor

Role Description We're looking for a highly self-directed Product Manager who thrives at an agile pace. This role doesn't face external customers directly — your main battleground is internal. You'll work closely with technical architects and a dedicated engineering team to untangle complex business requirements, plan out system functionality, and keep a close eye on engineering delivery quality. Once you're on board, your first priority will be making sense of the existing system's context and logic. In the near term, we'd also like you to bring in and make good use of cutting-edge AI-assisted development workflows to help speed up requirements clarification and system development. Building a product data-tracking framework is a longer-term goal, to be tackled once the above foundations are solid. Responsibilities - Drive engineering delivery: Work closely with architects and the engineering team to track development timelines and ensure features ship on time and to spec. - Requirements clarification & spec writing: Deeply understand business logic and internal needs; write clear PRDs and development plans. - System logic reverse-engineering: In ambiguous or under-documented environments, proactively dig into existing system logic and historical context, and quickly converge it into clear specs so development momentum doesn't stall. - Design AI Agent-facing product interfaces: Define which system functions can be exposed for AI Agents to operate on (e.g., via MCP), and collaborate with architects and engineering on the corresponding permission model, data access scope, and security safeguards — making AI Agents one of the ways users can operate the product. - Build a data-driven culture: Audit existing systems and build a product analytics/tracking framework from scratch, defining key success metrics. - Cross-functional / cross-border communication: Proactively drive discussions, manage your own workflow, and work closely with frontline business and operations teams to translate frontline feedback into clear product requirements. Communicate fluently in English with stakeholders from different backgrounds, in meetings and in writing. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in software product planning or project management. - Familiar with Scrum and agile development principles; comfortable managing a backlog and coordinating cross-team resources. - Understands the basics of software development languages and architecture; able to engage deeply with engineers and architects on technical approaches, and make sound product trade-off decisions between risk and cost. - Strong cross-team collaboration skills; able to work closely with business and operations teams and translate frontline feedback into clear product requirements and specs. - Strong communication skills; able to navigate disagreements and unexpected issues during development, and takes feedback and challenges constructively rather than defensively. - Genuine curiosity about business logic and existing systems; proactively asks questions and digs into context rather than passively waiting for requirements to be handed over. - Highly self-managed; able to find answers and keep momentum with minimal direction. - Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required. - Intermediate-or-above English proficiency: able to read product documents fluently and communicate in English in cross-functional meetings. Nice-to-Have - Previous remote work experience; familiar with asynchronous communication practices. - Familiar with how HR SaaS/systems work, and related industry domain knowledge. - Product experience in cross-border payroll, EOR (Employer of Record), or financial/payment-document workflows preferred. - Risk-awareness around financial and payment data. - Interest in, or hands-on experience with, AI-assisted engineering workflows (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot). - Experience implementing product analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Mixpanel). Benefits - Unlimited holidays - Flexible working hours - Laptop buy-back policy Equal Employment Opportunity Disclaimer At Slasify, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
