Role Description Ideal candidate is responsible for providing accurate and professional title searches, title examination, maintaining high level of productivity, assessing risk and liabilities in accordance with policy provisions and providing final title products based on facts and documentation. Must be US resident. Work visa sponsorship will not be considered. This role can sit 100% remote. Duties & Responsibilities - Within Company guidelines, research and/or examine title orders to determine condition of title and report matters such as mortgage, liens, judgments, and other vital statistics to determine ownership, legal restrictions, and verify legal description; review final products to ensure quality standards are met. - Explain chain of title, exceptions, and requirements. - Assess risks and liabilities that may jeopardize the Company and escalate, as appropriate. - Prepare accurate and comprehensive title search abstracts/examinations in accordance with Company policies and examining procedures. - Procure onsite documents from county locations as needed. - Maintain compliance with Company policies and good housekeeping practices. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - Must have or procure title insurance producer license for the state of Missouri. - Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills. - Must be detail oriented, customer driven & possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent presentation skills. - Familiar with industry concepts, practices, and procedures and associated risks and liabilities. - Proficient computer skills, including moderate to advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft applications and other industry related software required to perform job duties. - Must possess sound experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Compensation & Benefits - Compensation range: $22.00 – $28.85 hourly, based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. - Base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability). - Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off. - Matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
