Role Description TitleWave Real Estate Solutions, a division of Fidelity National Financial (FNF), is seeking a Commercial Title Examiner/Searcher to join our Georgia team. In this fulltime role, you are responsible for delivering accurate, high quality commercial title reports while maintaining strong productivity standards. This role requires evaluating risk and liabilities for complex transactions in accordance with policy provisions and providing final title products based on verified facts and documentation. Georgia search/examine experience is preferred. Must be US resident. Work visa sponsorship will not be considered. This role can sit 100% remote. Duties & Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive title searches and examinations by analyzing public records to determine ownership, chain of title and matters affecting title including deeds, mortgages, liens and other relevant documents. - Clearly explain title exceptions, requirements, conditions and other matters impacting commercial title and insurability. - Identify and assess title risks, liabilities and insurability concerns; perform curative research; recommend solutions to resolve title defects and escalate complex or high risk matters as appropriate. - Prepare accurate, detailed and well documented title reports while maintaining organized support documentation. - Procure required onsite or electronic records from county offices, courthouses, clerks and other recording entities, as needed. - Maintain good housekeeping practices and organized workflow. - Stay current on changes in state statutes, regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - 5+ years of commercial title search and exam experience. - Advanced analytical, research and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. - Experience handling complex property types, patent searches and high value transactions. - Demonstrate sound judgment and decision making ability. - Effectively manage time and competing priorities. - Customer and solutions focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly explain complex title issues. - Working knowledge of industry concepts, practices, procedures and associated risks and liabilities. - Proficient computer skills, including moderate to advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft applications and other industry-related software required to perform job duties. Preferred Experience - Georgia search/examine experience. - Underwriting experience. Compensation & Benefits - Compensation range: $28.00 – $34.00 hourly, based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. - Base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability). - Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off. - Matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
