• We are seeking a self-motivated, organized, and adaptable Coordinator to work for Empowerly part-time in our Research Scholars Program. • The Empowerly Research Scholars Program gives high school students the opportunity to explore academic interests through mentorship-driven research experiences with experts across a variety of fields. • Students build valuable research, writing, and critical thinking skills while completing meaningful projects that strengthen their academic profiles and college applications. A highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and technologically savvy college student who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

Job Requirements

  • At this time, we are only considering U.S. citizens who are based in the United States and currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a U.S.-based institution.
  • Serve as a liaison between Empowerly students by supporting and assisting students and families
  • Create learning content such as forms, surveys, FAQs, orientation presentations, etc. for each cycle
  • Collect and analyze company and student feedback
  • Develop post-mortem reports to analyze successes and growth areas for each cycle
  • Assist the RSP Program Manager with various data entry, content creation, and support tasks to keep the cycles running smoothly
  • Ability to work an average of 15-20 hours per week, and able to work non-traditional hours
  • Open to working with high school students from diverse backgrounds
  • Able to work independently and engage team members collaboratively
  • Able to work remotely with readily available internet and an appropriate workspace
  • Have excellent time management and organizational skills in order to consistently meet deadlines
  • Possess strong emotional intelligence
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to tell a story and inform decisions
  • Be a creative and curious problem solver with a bias towards thoughtful action and achieving results

Track CITI training compliance and keep documentation audit-ready. • Coordinate recruitment and scheduling across 4-5 research cycles, from In Tandem coordination and non-In Tandem sourcing through outreach, completion, and follow-up. • Maintain our data pipeline making sure our recordings, transcription workflow, transcript accuracy and de-identification, participant ID tracking, and data retention is seamless and well organized. • Maintain our Qualtrics survey instruments, including consent and assent forms, automated workflows. • Project Management and Infrastructure: Manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects across research cycles, share proactive status updates, and flag risks early. • Support external partner meetings and follow-up. Coordinate with consultants as needed and manage cross-functional handoffs. • Manage research tooling (Qualtrics, Calendly, Atlas.ti) and document processes as workflows evolve.

• Ensure the accurate, complete and timely collection, delivery and tracking of analytical information from translational research, CRO or collaborating laboratories for analysis, reporting and presentation • Review clinical protocols and work closely with scientists and clinical data managers to develop and review all external laboratory study-related documents (e.g. Data Transfer Specifications, etc.) • Execute data management activities for external laboratory data for clinical studies • Coordinate, prioritize, track and complete project management activities • Manage vendor relationships, receipt of accurate data, and quality control of vendor deliverables pertaining to data transfers, communicating all discrepancies found • Work with research study teams to develop research information management plans that outline data capture, data flow, data queries, manual checks, and data listings needed to ensure data integrity • Participate in comprehensive data review activities in coordination with project and study teams • Collaborate with data scientists, computational scientists, biostatisticians and study scientists to resolve any data issues found during analysis • Perform data review, and generate data queries to sites or vendors when necessary • Make data, including interim data, available to research department personnel as required • Work with data scientists and engineers to develop data management and visualization tools, including gathering and defining user requirements and perform user testing • Support initiatives to create AI-ready and analytics-ready research datasets through data standardization, harmonization, annotation, and quality control best practices • Partner with data science and digital teams to improve data structures, ontologies, metadata frameworks, and interoperability standards • Contribute to the development of data governance practices supporting AI, advanced analytics, and broader digital transformation initiatives across R&D
