Order Processing Specialist

• Enter, review, and process customer sales orders in NetSuite with a high degree of accuracy that are received via e-mail, mail, phone, fax and web • Verify pricing, product availability, terms, and shipping information • Manage order lifecycle from order entry through fulfillment and invoicing • Coordinate with warehouse, finance, and customer service teams to ensure timely fulfillment • Resolve order discrepancies, billing issues, and customer inquiries • Create, leverage, and maintain saved searches, dashboards, and reports to monitor order status and performance • Assist in testing NetSuite updates, scripts, and enhancements • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for order processing within NetSuite • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in order processing workflows • Identify and recommend AI-powered tools to automate order entry, validation, and exception handling while ensuring accuracy of system-generated data • Maintain high-quality data in NetSuite to support AI performance and improve automation outcomes • Analyze AI-driven alerts and insights to prioritize orders, resolve discrepancies, and support operational decision-making • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance order processing workflows through AI and automation and/or process improvements, partnering with cross-functional teams to increase accuracy and speed • Process orders accurately and in a timely manner • Maintain accurate customer files in NetSuite • Ensure sales tax is properly charged

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree
  • 2+ years experience with order processing, invoicing or similar role for a product and services organization
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems
  • NetSuite order entry experience required including basic understanding of NetSuite customization (fields, forms, workflows, roles)
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and data extraction, required.

Role Description As an Underwriter, you'll play a key role in evaluating insurance risks and making coverage decisions that help protect our policyholders. (Scheduled time approximately 65%) - Serve as contact for agents (via phone/email) and assist with coverage, rating, eligibility inquiries, and process policy transactions as appropriate. Explain coverage decisions and policy information to agents and policyholders/stakeholders.
