Role Description This position will be responsible for driving growth in Specialty by: - Building innovative products that secure our position as the market leader in payor focused Specialty solutions. - Creating disruptive and holistic solutions to address oncology, rare disease, and other high-cost therapies to ensure best in class management of cost and quality of care. As part of these responsibilities, the colleague will be responsible for developing a robust product roadmap based on current and anticipated market trends, and working across the organization to deliver new and market leading solutions to market. Responsibilities - Build and execute product roadmap that solves payor, provider and patient needs related to oncology, rare disease and other high-cost therapies, including: - Develop cost management and population health programs such as formulary and coverage strategies, prior authorization programs, care management programs, patient and provider engagement programs, value-based arrangements, and more. - Leverages Board Certified Oncologist Pharmacist (BCOP) expertise to inform the clinical strategy and provider and member journeys across the portfolio of products. - Define drug lists, clinical workflows and clinical rules, and helps maintain this content along with other product owners. - Stays abreast of the drug pipeline, utilization and pricing patterns, to assist product owners with innovative strategies to manage spend. - Develops and leads a process to share new product updates, key guideline and pathways changes, unique trends and/or utilization patterns, and key study info with internal stakeholders. - Evaluates a similar process for external stakeholders including clients and consultants to share expertise and improve marketplace presence. - Leads clinical committees and clinical governance across portfolio with support from other product owners. - Co-lead development and oversight of clinical workflows with the product owner, serving as a valuable clinical expert and partner to clinical operations and technology teams. - Assists in the development of tools and processes that improve the effectiveness of clinical content (including policies, question sets, drug lists, workflows and program rules). - Participates in the review process with product owners to ensure continuous improvement and quality monitoring. - Serves as an internal oncology SME for new and existing product strategies, and as a representative for internal and external conferences. - Identifies opportunities for clinical journal and research publications. Qualifications - Oncology practice / health system experience. - Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP). - Ability to manage multiple projects and work with many teams while driving work forward in a matrix-style organization, with certain ownership vs. support responsibilities. - Ability to frame complex problems and develop solutions that address multiple interests with minimal guidance and direction. - Advanced Impact and Influence skills – ability to influence and establish rapport with colleagues both senior and junior to him/her. - Ability to travel 1-2x per year. Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years experience developing and owning healthcare innovation products with an in-depth understanding of managed care and overall marketplace dynamics to anticipate and address emerging market needs. Education - Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy OR PharmD. Anticipated Weekly Hours - 40 Time Type - Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $135,575.00 - $228,800.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Role Description Join our global Pharmacovigilance team as a Medical/Clinical Safety Specialist. The Medical/Clinical Safety Specialist is responsible for assuring compliance with the Quality Management System.
