A&D Sales Manager

Trexon

• Own sales targets and revenue goals for defined U.S. territories and accounts. • Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with key A&D customers. • Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities in emerging technologies and programs. • Partner with engineering to tailor product designs and specifications to customer needs. • Provide voice-of-customer feedback to influence product development and innovation. • Support bid and proposal efforts, including technical input and pricing recommendations. • Track competitors, pricing, and market trends to guide strategic decision-making. • Identify new solution partners, distributors, and integration opportunities. • Represent Intelliconnect at relevant exhibitions and networking events (domestic and occasional international travel).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or related discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in interconnect systems, RF/microwave, cable assemblies, or other engineered components.
  • Proven success developing new business and managing accounts in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
  • Experience supporting DOD contractors, primes, and major OEMs preferred.
  • Working knowledge of interconnect and connector manufacturing, cable assemblies, and custom engineered solutions.
  • Understanding of A&D procurement cycles, program lifecycles, and related compliance requirements (ITAR, DFARS).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and strategic account management abilities.
  • Comfortable reading technical drawings/specifications and discussing engineering solutions.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and data-driven sales reporting.
