Senior Manager, Corporate Trust Sydney, Australia Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 Hybrid Intro: This is a leadership role within the Corporate Trust team. In Australia, we operate a highly regulated wholesale trustee business committed to maintaining the highest standards of governance, compliance, and client service. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Manager reporting to the Director, Head of Operations, to join the team. The focus of this role is as follows: - Support junior members of the Corporate Trust team and coordinate the delivery of timely and accurate trustee services across a portfolio of wholesale trusts and funds; and manage client relationships post-onboarding on an ongoing basis. - This is a hands-on position requiring active involvement in day-to-day operations. Some of the things you’ll be doing: - Oversee and supervise the daily operations of assigned clients and funds, ensuring operational excellence - Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of trustee services - Assist with client onboardings as required - Manage the post-onboarding and integration of new clients and trusts and manage the offboarding of schemes that are winding up - Review trust’s constituent documents and set up governance and compliance frameworks for new funds to facilitate trust formation and operation - Manage deal activity including acquisitions, divestments, capex, refinancing, capital calls or any other relevant matters - Liaise with and oversee service providers who are preparing the trust’s accounts, tax returns, business activity statements, annual investor income reports and other mandatory reports as required - Monitor service providers to ensure they are complying with service level agreements, regulatory requirements, the trust deed and the law - Support compliance activities in accordance with compliance plan controls including Know Your Client and Anti-Money Laundering Checks - Work closely with senior management to ensure compliance is managed appropriately in accordance with compliance policies and procedures - Establish, maintain and adhere to operating procedures - Participate in ongoing automation and improvement of systems and processes - Lead, manage and develop team members, including training and mentoring - Involvement in projects and other ad hoc duties as required What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? - Australian recognised qualification in Law / Business Administration or other similar disciplines - Minimum 8 years of working experience in a Legal, Accounting, Audit, Funds, Trustee or Governance role - An understanding of the role of a Trustee - Client management skills and relationship management experience - Knowledge of the managed funds industry and operational experience relating to managed investment schemes - Fluent in English both verbally and in writing - Works well under pressure, delivers results and meets customer expectations - Works collaboratively and enjoys working with and influencing people - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Self-starter with good planning and organizational skills - Highly principled and able to resolve issues About Us CSC is a global business, legal, and financial services company based in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, providing knowledge-based solutions to clients worldwide.
