Role Description We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for FP&A and corporate finance professionals experienced in reviewing financial documents, spreadsheets, slide decks, budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, financial models, KPI reports, board materials, and presentation-ready finance artifacts for accuracy, rigor, clarity, and domain quality. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on FP&A and corporate finance artifact review, rubric-based evaluation, document and spreadsheet assessment, slide deck quality review, structured feedback, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will evaluate AI-generated work products and apply subject-matter expertise to identify factual, analytical, aesthetic, and presentation issues. Key Responsibilities - FP&A Artifact Review - Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting, management reporting, and financial planning. - Review financial materials for accuracy, completeness, rigor, clarity, and practical relevance. - Assess whether budgets, forecasts, and performance narratives are supported by appropriate assumptions, calculations, and evidence. - Identify inaccurate assumptions, weak financial logic, unclear analysis, incomplete context, or poor linkage between data and recommendations. - Corporate Finance & Financial Model Evaluation - Review materials involving corporate finance, financial models, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, capital planning, cost analysis, margin analysis, and executive reporting. - Evaluate spreadsheet logic, forecast structure, model assumptions, financial statement links, and supporting calculations. - Assess board materials, finance decks, reporting packs, and executive-facing summaries for rigor and usability. - Provide clear written feedback that improves FP&A and corporate finance artifact quality. - Spreadsheet, Document & Presentation Quality Review - Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, calculations, formatting, usability, and consistency. - Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality. - Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files. - Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. Qualifications - 5+ years of relevant professional experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial modeling, business finance, or related work. - Native or professional fluency in English. - High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. - Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs. - Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail. - Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback. - Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment. Educational Background - Academic backgrounds in finance, accounting, economics, business, mathematics, statistics, data analysis, or related fields may be relevant. - Advanced degree from a reputable institution may be valuable. - Professional training in FP&A, corporate finance, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, or management reporting may also be relevant depending on project scope. Nice to Have - Master's degree, MBA, CFA, CPA, CMA, FPAC, or comparable finance-related credential. - Experience creating or reviewing budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, board decks, financial models, KPI reports, management reporting packs, or corporate finance presentations. - Familiarity with scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, unit economics, margin analysis, capital planning, revenue modeling, and cost structure analysis. - Experience reviewing presentation decks for clarity, polish, and business-facing communication quality. - Strong ability to evaluate both financial substance and visual/presentation quality.
