Role Description Acentra Health is looking for a Provider Educator to join our growing team. The Provider Educator plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality, person-centered services within the West Virginia Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Waiver (IDDW) Program. This position is responsible for: - Developing, delivering, and monitoring training and technical assistance for waiver providers to promote compliance with Medicaid regulations, the WV IDDW Policy Manual, and best practices in service delivery. - Overseeing provider contractual requirements to enhance positive relations and managing customer service experience. - Serving as the provider educational coordinator, focusing on quality improvement initiatives, and staying informed about updates to automated review systems. - Conducting provider reviews (onsite and desk audits), including completing associated reports, and completing special projects as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services Field. - Must reside in the State of West Virginia. - 3+ years experience with the WV IDDW Program. Requirements - Strong understanding of the WV IDDW Policy Manual. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical guidance. - Strong organizational and prioritization abilities. - Analytical skills to identify trends and recommend improvements. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, virtual training platforms, and (preferably the UMC Web Portal).
