Senior Embedded Algorithms Engineer
BioIntelliSense, Inc
• Prototype and implement algorithms on BioIntelliSense’s devices to extract core vital signs • Research novel methods for vital sign signal extraction using high frequency sensor data • Work with product team to define algorithm requirements and test metrics • Iterate rapidly to develop algorithm prototypes and communicate performance tradeoffs • Port algorithms to C and optimize computations to meet processor and power constraints • Develop test protocols for data collection team, and perform QA to ensure the product meets the requirements • Ideate new tools to automate algorithm benchmarking and testing to improve team efficiency
Job Requirements
- PhD or MS in EE, CS, or related engineering field
- 5+ years experience in signal processing and algorithm design
- Experience with fixed-point time-series data
- Experience in embedded C, especially in resource constrained systems
- Experience with low-cost ARM processors, such as ARM Cortex M0/M4 or similar
- Strong proficiency in Python or Matlab
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a startup environment
