Care Technician, Part Time
Mixlab
• Manage inbound and outbound calls while providing quality customer service and using effective communication • Answer 50-70 incoming calls per 8-hour shift • Process new and refill prescription orders • Fax and/or call veterinarians for refill requests • Check voicemail and return customer calls • Collaborate with pharmacists and other colleagues to ensure effective and efficient customer service • Inform patients of tracking status on their orders • Check and verify invoices/charges • Scan and file orders in appropriate folders • Read and understand prescription orders • Navigate multiple internal computer systems
Job Requirements
- You must be a certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of TEXAS
- You have experience working in a data processing, fulfillment, or retail role. Veterinary experience is a plus.
- You have a customer-focused (and in our case, a pet-focused!) mindset
- You thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- You are able to remain in a stationary position (sitting/standing) for prolonged periods of time
- You are able to move boxes holding medications weighing up to 25lbs
- You have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - and are a collaborative, team-player
- You have an all-hands-on-deck attitude with an ability to remain calm and excel under pressure
- You have the ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
- You constantly strive to “wow” clients and patients
- You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- You are scrappy and resourceful
- You’re not afraid of wearing multiple hats - you pitch in to help the team when necessary
- You have flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
