• Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliated financial professionals (FPs). • Guide FPs in leading with formal financial planning to better serve affluent investors. • Conduct discovery meetings, facilitate data gathering, and provide strategic recommendations. • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to FPs and their clients. • Respond promptly to advisor inquiries, assess urgency, and manage priorities accordingly. • Proactively initiate outreach to support business development and asset growth. • Partner with internal teams and product specialists (e.g., advisory, insurance, trust, alternatives) to deliver integrated planning solutions. • Collaborate with Cetera Trust Company and other departments to support holistic financial planning. • Document and share advisor interactions to ensure continuity and team alignment. • Serve as a liaison to various internal departments and product specialists (e.g., advisory, annuity, insurance, and alternative-solutions) to help ensure concerted accomplishments. • Honor promises to FPs, follow through on commitments to internal stakeholders, be receptive to constructive dialogue to drive positive change, and learn from others. • Ensure all planning recommendations and implementations adhere to regulatory requirements, internal compliance standards, and suitability guidelines, particularly when working with complex HNW strategies and alternative investments. Act as a risk-aware partner to advisors, helping them navigate fiduciary responsibilities and mitigate potential compliance issues.
Job Requirements
- At least 10 years’ experience in a client- or advisor-facing HNW planning role.
- FINRA Series 7 & 63 required.
- Life insurance license preferred.
- CFP® designation preferred or equivalent experience.
- BS/BA in business, finance, economics, accounting or related field.
- Strong understanding of trust, estate, and legacy planning.
- Familiarity with business planning, charitable giving, and risk management strategies.
- Experience with alternative investments (e.g., 1031 exchanges, QOZs, REITs, exchange funds, oil & gas programs).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel, to create compelling presentations and support data-driven recommendations that influence advisor and client decision-making.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRMs and financial planning platforms (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro).

Role Description The Dental Consultant is responsible for participating in Utilization Management for Delta Dental of Virginia and works closely with the Professional Review, Dental Director, and Chief Dental Officer. This position is focused on claims review and will be partnered with the dental director. This position assists in developing dental policy and procedures consistent with Delta Dental’s mission to ensure a competitive position for the company. Essential Functions - Provide leadership and coordination of efforts between departments related to Delta Dental of Virginia. - Claims Administration responsibility for: - The determination of dental necessity and appropriateness of treatment standards. - Assisting in the development of dental policy and staff calibration practices. - Providing recommendations on policy for efficient and effective benefit review processes. - Providing recommendations to the Professional Review staff specific to claims determinations and interpretation of dental policy. - Adjudicate special claims and benefit review requests in a timely manner. - Administer other dental-related issues impacted by Delta Dental’s policies or procedures. - Responsible for the timely and accurate review of claims to achieve cycle-time and accuracy standards. - Communicate with dental care providers regarding claim and benefit matters to resolve disputes on individual claims. - May perform other functions as assigned.
