Role Description Ciklum is looking for a Python Engineer to join our team full-time in Romania. As a Senior Python Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team. Responsibilities: - Design and implement complex backend features from conception through to deployment, ensuring they meet strategic business objectives. - Write clean, secure, highly testable, scalable and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and best practices. - Perform comprehensive code reviews to ensure high code quality and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. - Actively participate in multiple aspects of the SDLC, including planning, development, testing, and deployment. - Assist in upholding and enhancing the team's engineering and quality standards, and support team in adopting these. - Engage in the technical interviewing process. Qualifications - In-depth understanding of paradigms and principles such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID, and GRASP. - Proficient in documenting complex software solutions through comprehensive technical documentation and detailed diagrams. - Extensive expertise in Python and knowledge of essential third-party libraries and tools. - Profound knowledge of Python frameworks like Flask, FastAPI and in-depth knowledge of their internal architecture. - Deep understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL systems, experience crafting high-performance queries, executing optimizations, and designing database structures. - Practical commercial experience in developing both monolithic and distributed systems. - Experience in deploying and managing applications within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. - Advanced proficiency with unittest, pytest, nose2 and other common testing tools. - Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality enhancement on projects through conducting code reviews, establishing quality metrics, and monitoring them. - Practical experience in utilizing application deployment patterns and tools. - Hands-on experience configuring infrastructure with leading cloud service providers. • Conduct systematic literature reviews to inform program evaluation and analyses • Conduct rapid-cycle evaluations and analytics to understand the impact of OCHIN initiatives • Conduct projects that elevate the needs of internal and external stakeholders to improve their experience • Communicate and partner with subject matter experts in order to design, develop, and execute evaluation plans • Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data-based findings towards refinement of program efforts and determination of evidence-base for program interventions • Establish an evaluation framework and identify tools that can be applied to evaluation and analytics projects to support OCHIN’s ability to disseminate learnings • Establish and implement equity, justice, and data de-colonization frameworks that can be applied to data analytics projects on the Evaluation and Analytics Team • Analyze and process data sets utilizing advanced querying, visualization, and analytics tools • Build, maintain, and continuously seek opportunities to improve systems and processes for assigned data collection, analysis, and reporting • Manage multiple evaluation and analysis projects simultaneously to help OCHIN improve our products and services • Generate high quality, readily interpretable deliverables and package findings for executive level stakeholders

• Independently implement customer projects involving cluster, container, automation, and CI/CD solutions • Design cloud services according to existing architectural guidelines • Maintain cloud platforms • Document features, services, and procedures clearly and thoroughly • Analyze technical issues and resolve root causes • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and new team members

• Analyze and assess an existing, heterogeneous service and system landscape • Identify optimization potential and develop measures to modernize the infrastructure • Design and implement automation solutions (e.g., with Ansible and Puppet) to increase operational efficiency • Support the further development and standardization of the platforms and services in use • Plan, prepare, and execute a migration of existing services to a modernized target environment • Ensure a stable and as uninterrupted as possible transition during the migration • Document the actions taken and transfer knowledge to internal teams
