Freelance SAP FS-PM Solution Designer, Developer

• This combined functional and technical role covers the end-to-end design, implementation, development and support of SAP Policy Management (FS-PM) • Deliver efficient, tailored solutions that support core insurance processes such as new business, policy administration and claims • Analyze complex business needs and translate them into sustainable SAP FS-PM solutions • Turn functional requirements into a clear FS-PM design • Draft detailed functional and design specifications for RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) • Define required components, system settings and system enhancements • Perform customizing across core SAP FS-PM areas, including product configuration, business processes, policy time model, contract structure and tariff integration • Manage integration points with FS-CD, FS-ICM, FS-RI, SAP FICO and SAP ECC/S/4HANA • Support module testing, integration testing, UAT and go-live activities • Lead and guide the FS-PM development team • Develop and adapt ABAP/ABAP OO programs for custom FS-PM requirements • Use and extend FS-PM-specific BAdIs, user exits and enhancement spots • Build interfaces with external systems, for example through web services or proxies • Carry out debugging and optimise performance in both customizing and ABAP code • Contribute to data migration strategy and technical execution
Job Requirements
- At least 6 years of dedicated hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP FS-PM
- Proven experience combining functional customizing and ABAP development in an FS-PM environment
- Strong knowledge of FS-PM architecture, including the policy model, journal, business processes and Product Engine
- Advanced SAP FS-PM customizing skills, including business process and screen configuration
- Expert-level SAP knowledge, with strong SAP ABAP/ABAP OO capabilities and SAP HANA expertise
- Solid understanding of insurance business processes, such as life, non-life, health or auto insurance
- Good understanding of integration points with SAP FICO, FS-CD and SAP ECC/S/4HANA
- Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills
- Experience with FS-PM-specific development objects; knowledge of Web Dynpro or SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field
- Previous experience at Senior SAP Developer level
