Job Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in generative modeling, machine learning, music information retrieval, speech processing, audio processing, signal processing, or related areas
  • Expertise in vocal/speech synthesis, post-training alignment techniques, or audio-to-audio generation and text-guided music editing
  • Publications at leading conferences such as ICASSP, ISMIR, INTERSPEECH, ICLR, AAAI, IJCAI, NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV
  • Strong coding skills in Python, PyTorch, and NumPy

Key Responsibilities: - Conduct and contribute to leadership of evaluations of federal initiatives. - Develop evaluation plans, logic models, evaluation questions, data collection and analysis plans, and evaluation reports. - Contribute to the development of reports, manuscripts, briefing materials, etc. - Provide oversight to data collection and analysis. Role Description Our public health group is growing and we’re currently seeking a Research Scientist to work in our Public Health Solutions Portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine data management tasks (data cleaning, data processing, merging data files). - Perform data validations/quality assurance, potentially including conversations with survey respondents to ensure data are correct. - Perform complex and advanced statistical analyses. Prepare reports, manuscripts, briefing materials, etc. - Contribute to the development of: - Data management and data analyses plans; - Procedures for data collection (including recommendations among different sampling plans, data sources, and cost/time investments); - Written or visual reports (dashboards, infographics); - Proposal or grant submissions, including but not limited to technical writing. Qualifications - Master’s in a relevant field (e.g., public health, psychology, statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology). - Minimum of three years of experience involving management and analysis of quantitative data.
