Corporate Contractor – Scheduling Coordinator

GLOBO

• Coordinates communication with clients and interpreters • Provides first-level issue resolution • Acts as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors under general supervision • Answers phone calls and triages needs of callers • Handles the scheduling of routine and non-complex interpreting jobs • Maintains the scheduling email box and responds to requests in a timely manner • Conducts intake of requests for interpretation services • Works closely within the scheduling system • Complies with the scheduling process • Escalates issues appropriately • Covers for other scheduling coordinators during breaks and vacations • Attends training activities and meetings

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of experience in scheduling
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a ‘service-first’ mindset
  • Background in customer-facing roles with a demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Experience in the healthcare of language services industry preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Word
  • Experience with Google Docs and Apple/Mac Operating System preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a decentralized environment
  • Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics
  • Proven ability to interpret strategic and operational business requirements
  • Value strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects and prioritize needs

Qualifications - High School Diploma/GED - 1 year scheduling experience within the Patient Access Center or - Proficient in all basic scheduling procedures (e.g. DEXA, Echo, etc.) and has been trained on one or more complex diagnostic tests (e.g. IR, MRI) or experience scheduling physician appointments across multiple regions (Pocono, Lehigh Valley, Hazleton) Requirements - Lift and carry 25 lbs. - Frequent sitting/standing - Frequent keyboard use - Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
