Grapple Truck Operator
Keystone Rail Recovery
• Responsible for driving and operating company vehicles to and from customer locations • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of trucks, trailers, and equipment • Operate company vehicles safely and follow all traffic laws • Operate Grapple and magnet to move, stage, load/unload railroad materials • Works with hydraulic tools, welding, cutting with torches, electrical tools • Maintain daily job reporting of production • Continuously monitor equipment/vehicles to minimize downtime • Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
Job Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL
- Experience driving a manual transmission commercial vehicle
- At least one year of experience operating a grapple truck with hi-rail gear
- Previous relevant railroad experience
- Clean driving record (no serious traffic violations or DUIs)
- Clear a background check and pass training courses prior to beginning employment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
