Role Description The Editor in Chief plays a crucial role in shaping the voice and direction of the publication. Responsibilities - Oversee a team of managing editors, writers, and freelancers - Train and motivate writers to meet deadlines and maintain high standards - Produce a mix of feature articles and news reports - Write and edit business news related to the adult industry, adhering to AP style - Manage projects related to magazine articles - Ensure timely publication of articles on the flagship news website - Cover legal and political news relevant to the industry - Conduct interviews with industry figures and provide coverage of events - Perform basic image editing as needed Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Journalism - At least a few years of experience as an Editor-in-Chief - Experience in news journalism is required - Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of writers - Experience working in a small company - Tech-savvy - Must be enthusiastic about joining the company and interested in the industry - Experience in movie-related publications is preferred Benefits - 401(k) with a 3% match, eligible after 90 days - Medical and dental coverage, fully covered for employees, eligible after 90 days - 10 days of PTO for 1-5 years of service, eligible after 90 days - 6 days of paid sick leave - 6 paid holidays
