Role Description Our Comedy & Entertainment Podcast team is seeking an intern interested in learning about how you organize, record, produce and publish podcasts. You’ll be part of the team of producers and engineers who take responsibility for the weekly podcast production, collaborating with the funniest hosts in the business to ensure their shows match both their own creative vision and company production standards. What you’ll do: - Assist in producing a number of existing shows, under the guidance of more experienced producers. - Help production teams by researching sources for ongoing series, coordinating remote or in-studio booking requests, etc. - Identify, edit, produce and curate interesting promotional and archival audio clips. - Learn to edit audio in ProTools and edit social media designs in Photoshop, Headliner or Canva. - Participate in team meetings and creative collaboration. - Take photos after recordings, archive and edit them for use. - Perform other duties as required. Qualifications - You must be 18 years of age or older. - Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by September 2027 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship. - Current or previous enrollment in communications classes preferred. - Prior internship or working experience in radio/podcast/TV/Film production industry preferred. - Experience with digital media systems, a plus. - Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and G Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets) and Zoom conferencing software. - Experience with ProTools or other audio editing software preferred, but not required. - Familiarity with SiriusXM and Earwolf programming and a passion for podcasts – bonus points if you’re already making your own! - Commitment to excellent storytelling and thoughtfulness about what makes a good audio story. - Flexibility and a can-do attitude. - Resilience and a willingness to do the less glamorous tasks as well as the fun ones. - Excellent communication and time management skills. - Attention to detail and strict adherence to the highest podcast standards and ethics. - Well-organized, energetic, independent and responsive to feedback and direction. - Strong spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills. - Must have legal right to work in the U.S. Requirements - Base salary for this position is $18/hr and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. - This role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. Role Description We are looking for a seasoned Lead Producer to lead the development of our new IP. This role will play a vital part in the successful delivery of a major new title. The ideal candidate will have experience at the highest levels of project leadership, building new IP, growing teams, and supporting the creative leaders in the realization of their vision. - Manage internal and external teams across multiple locations to meet production schedules and deliver the project to quality, time, and budget expectations. - Support the Creative Director in the maintenance of a coherent creative vision throughout the entire development life cycle. - Work closely with Producers to develop product budgets and schedules across the team. - Partner with the VP of Product to ensure core development processes are adhered to with consistency. - Mentor producers at all levels of the team, taking a keen interest in their growth and career development. - Ensure that coherent goals are set for the team from milestone to milestone, and that they are understood and executed upon. - Coordinate and assist with focus testing, outsourcing and other external parties as required. Qualifications - 10+ years in internal game development. - Experience building and leading teams across multiple locations. - Experience building AAA Games. - Comfortable guiding and leading staff across both production and creative disciplines, ensuring there is a healthy level of push and pull. - An excellent communicator and emotionally intelligent leader capable of rallying a team. - A calm and stable voice capable of managing complex problems with a cool head. - Ability to interface with all levels of the organization. - Resourceful, self-motivated, and capable of acting autonomously. - Capable of balancing production and creative needs in support of making informed decisions. - Ability to identify and analyse risk while providing mitigation.
