The Asset Generalist will play a critical role in our production pipeline, responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, textures, and look-development for various assets, from characters and props to complex environments. You will work closely with Art Directors, VFX Supervisors, and department leads to ensure the highest quality of work is delivered on schedule. - Model, texture, look-develop, and groom high-quality 3D assets, including characters, props, and environments, to meet project requirements. - Ensure all assets meet the technical specifications and standards of the studio pipeline, including efficient topology, optimized UV layout, and shading. - Ensure the artistic integrity and visual consistency of all assets throughout the production process. - Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, contributing to the development and refinement of asset creation workflows and tools. - Manage asset versions effectively and maintain clear, consistent communication with production and team leads to ensure deadlines are met. Qualifications - 3+ years (Mid Level) 5+ (Senior Level) of experience as a VFX Asset Generalist or similar role, demonstrated by a strong portfolio. - Expert proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Substance Painter/Designer, Mari, ZBrush).
