Cost Segregation Consultant I
Frost
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and working within Excel spreadsheets. • Costing of all components of architectural, site, mechanical and electrical construction utilizing pricing manuals as well as industry accepted techniques and methods. • Travel in and out of state as necessary to complete site inspections and meet with clients. • Analyze applications for payment and other cost summary or budget information. • Skillfully working with various computer spreadsheet and estimating software programs. • Generation of computer reports including incorporation of costs details, references, and summaries of technical construction data. • Receive and review asset costs and study requirements with managers and staff. • Meet client deadlines. • Learn applicable tax code and regulations as it pertains to the industry. • Acquire the skills needed to complete reports with minimal supervision. • Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specialization.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree, with emphasis in civil engineering, construction management, accounting or other related majors.
- A minimum of one year of experience performing cost segregation studies and fixed asset reviews.
- Self-starter with the ability to handle and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel 10% (two-three days per month).
- Previous experience interacting with customers in business setting.
