Senior Database Engineer
EUROPEAN DYNAMICS
• Analyse existing MS SQL, MySQL, and hybrid (Azure/AWS/on-prem) database architectures and observability maturity levels; • Configure and manage monitoring tools such as SQL Sentry; • Evaluate database performance baselines, resource utilisation patterns, and high availability configurations; • Suggest AI-driven monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated self-healing mechanisms for database operations; • Troubleshoot complex Database infrastructure and application issues; • Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Job Requirements
- University degree combined with relevant IT professional experience of 10 years;
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases;
- Experience working with Azure, AWS, and hybrid database environments;
- Knowledge of database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization;
- Hands-on experience with database monitoring tools such as SQL Sentry;
- Experience troubleshooting complex database and application issues;
- Understanding of High Availability (HA) and database architecture best practices;
- Familiarity with AI-driven monitoring, anomaly detection, or database automation is an advantage;
- Excellent command of the English language.
