Role Description - Analyze options and TradFi trading user behavior across the full lifecycle — from onboarding and first trade, to active trading patterns, product adoption depth, and churn signals. - Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports to track options and TradFi product performance, including trading volume, open interest, fee revenue, notional value, and key user indicators (e.g., activation rate, retention rate, revenue per user). - Conduct deep-dive analyses on options product performance, including volume breakdown by expiry/strike/type (call vs. put), IV trends, Greeks exposure distribution, premium flow, and user trading strategy patterns. - Conduct equivalent analyses on TradFi perpetual products (equities, indices, metals, commodities, forex), including cross-asset volume attribution, fee contribution by product line, and trader behavior segmentation. - Identify high-value user segments, model trading lifetime value and engagement depth, and provide data-driven recommendations to support product design, fee structure optimization, and market-making strategy. - Monitor data quality and integrity across trading and user systems, identifying and resolving metric discrepancies and anomalies. - Support business, product, and risk teams with ad-hoc data requests, A/B test analysis, and impact assessments for new product launches, feature releases, and trading campaigns. - Develop and maintain data models and ETL pipelines for options, TradFi, and user-related datasets. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders — including product, risk, finance, and compliance — to define metrics, align on data definitions, and standardize reporting. - Provide actionable recommendations based on data findings to support user acquisition, trading volume growth, and product monetization strategies. Qualifications - Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken). - 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role. - Background in options trading, derivatives, or TradFi financial products required. - Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical programming language (Python or R). - Experience with BI/visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar). - Solid understanding of options mechanics — payoff structures, Greeks (Delta/Gamma/Vega/Theta), implied volatility, open interest, and expiry dynamics. - Familiarity with TradFi asset classes — equities, equity indices, metals, commodities, and foreign exchange — and their perpetual contract equivalents. - Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex trading data into clear, actionable insights. - High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Comfortable working across different timezones. Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with crypto options products — USDC-margined options, volatility surface construction, or DeFi options protocols. - Experience with trading flow analysis, market microstructure, or execution quality metrics. - Experience with statistical analysis, forecasting, or quantitative techniques applied to derivatives or multi-asset trading scenarios. - Prior experience at a crypto exchange, digital asset platform, or traditional brokerage with derivatives and multi-asset capabilities. - Understanding of options market-making, hedging workflows, or institutional trading behavior.
