Role Description You own quality and test automation at Cashen. You will build the QA infrastructure from the ground up — automated test suites, CI integration, regression coverage, and release validation — for a platform where bugs have financial consequences. A missed edge case in a deal state transition or an interest accrual rounding error doesn’t just degrade UX — it moves money incorrectly between institutional counterparties. You work directly with the CTO and the development team to ensure that every release meets the correctness bar required for institutional financial software. As the platform expands from off-chain marketplace to on-chain DAML smart contracts, you will extend test coverage across both layers. • Promptly respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs using electronic and computer skills to ensure instruments meet specifications. • Primary laboratory systems include but are not limited to; BD COR, KiestrA, Microbiology, Molecular, and LC/MS. • Revenue Generation, collaborate across service and support teams to drive field service revenue through billable offerings like preventive maintenance and equipment moves. • Lead customer expectations, by communicating work performed and providing follow up plan if needed. • Collaborate with customers to proactively schedule and complete system upgrades as needed. • Report and document all customer complaints in appropriate systems of record for resolution and investigation. • Maintain spare parts inventory, company-issued vehicle, and all assigned equipment (e.g., laptop, tools, test devices) in good condition and per policy. • Demonstrate good judgment in utilization of company credit card, while adhering to expense levels within the established business guidelines. • Travel includes both scheduled and unscheduled visits, with increased overnight stays for wide territories and occasional national travel. • Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotation (~every 6 weeks), requiring local phone availability and potential national travel for instrument support. • Always maintain a professional appearance. • Must participate in vendor credentialing programs and finish the vendor credentialing requirements to gain and maintain access to customer facilities. • Partner with business groups to identify AI/automation opportunities. • Assess feasibility (viability, data, integration, ROI, readiness) and help prioritize work across a portfolio of ideas. • Translate business problems into clear solution designs and implementation plans. • Communicate recommendations in a way that is understandable to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. • Design, configure, and refine AI‑driven applications and agents (RAG, prompt design, agent workflows) for internal and occasional client use. • Build on platforms like Glean, Microsoft Copilot, and Snowflake Intelligence to orchestrate end‑to‑end agentic workflows (e.g., retrieval, reasoning, actions, and hand‑offs). • Implement guardrails, monitoring, and evaluation patterns so agents are safe, reliable, and helpful. • Implement workflow automation using RPA, scripting, and low‑code/no‑code tools to remove manual, repetitive steps from business processes. • Integrate systems and data sources through APIs and connectors to enable smooth, end‑to‑end execution. • Operate and optimize automations over time for performance, reliability, and cost. • Build automation and AI workflows using modern engineering practices (version control, code review, testing, CI/CD), with a focus on maintainability and reusability. • Contribute to shared patterns, templates, and documentation that make it easier to roll out new AI agents and automations. • Work with cross‑functional teams (Platform, Analytics, Operations, Sales, Delivery, Finance, IT) to deliver solutions that align with business priorities. • Participate in agile planning and ceremonies to keep work visible, prioritized, and on track. • Share best practices on AI agents and workflow automation across the organization. • Track and experiment with emerging AI/automation tools, and bring forward ideas for pilots and improvements. • Help evaluate and operate secure, governed cloud AI services.
