• Prepare Estimates & Tenders - Develop accurate cost estimates, tender submissions and pricing based on specifications, drawings and client requirements. • Build Bills of Materials & Pricing - Create detailed BoMs, source supplier pricing and estimate labour to ensure accurate and competitive project costing. • Support Design & Quotations - Assist with system design, equipment selection and translating client scope into clear, compliant and complete quotations. • Manage Quoting Across Projects - Prepare quotes for tenders, D&C projects, minor works and ad hoc requests while managing multiple deadlines. • Collaborate with Stakeholders - Work closely with Sales, Design, Project Delivery, suppliers and clients to gather information and ensure alignment. • Maintain Processes & Documentation - Follow tender processes, manage RFIs and documentation, update systems (e.g. ConnectWise) and contribute to improving workflows.

• Prepare detailed, accurate, and fully defensible restoration estimates remotely for multiple branch locations and brands. • Write estimates for residential, commercial, and large-loss projects across all restoration service lines. • Develop estimates utilizing field documentation, photographs, moisture readings, drying reports, sketches, invoices, subcontractor documentation, and supporting records. • Ensure estimates accurately reflect the approved scope of work while maximizing all justified and supported billing opportunities. • Produce estimates that comply with current pricing databases, carrier guidelines, TPA requirements, and company estimating standards. • Audit submitted scopes, documentation, and estimates for technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Role Description The Electrical Cost Estimator focuses on electrical demolition, temporary power and lighting, distribution, lighting systems, wiring devices, branch circuits, equipment connections, communications equipment, access control, AV/IT, and other electrical systems. This role is responsible for producing accurate, detailed cost estimates that help stakeholders make informed decisions about scope and budget alignment. The Estimator works collaboratively with clients, design teams, and internal colleagues to deliver high-quality pre-construction support. In this role, you will: - Review and interpret construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and narratives. - Participate in client and internal project kick-off meetings. - Develop and submit RFIs and solicit quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. - Perform electrical quantity take-offs using OST, Sage, BIM, and other estimating software. - Apply appropriate unit pricing using historical data, vendor quotes, and market benchmarks. - Conduct comparative cost analyses to identify opportunities for budget alignment. - Maintain strong, positive working relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. - Prepare organized, standardized estimate reports for client and internal use. - Deliver estimates and follow up with clients in a timely manner. - Support closeout documentation efforts as needed. - Contribute to improvements in electrical estimating processes and best practices. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications - Familiarity with building electrical systems preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Experience with OST, or similar estimating software preferred. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. - Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. • Prepare highly detailed quantity takeoffs and accurate cost estimates specifically for commercial glass, glazing, and storefront systems. • Manage end-to-end bid documentation workflows, ensuring all bid preparation requirements and local guidelines are meticulously met. • Calculate accurate labor cost projections, project timelines, and logistical variables, including specialized assessments for high-rise work requiring swing stages and lifts. • Lead vendor outreach and request for quotes (RFQs), building and maintaining strong coordination with major U.S. suppliers like YKK, US Aluminum/CR Lawrence, and Old Castle Building Envelope. • Support pre-construction logistics, compile submittals, and manage RFIs to ensure a seamless handoff to operations teams. • Utilize Bloom & Beam OST software (or similar estimating platforms) to maintain organized, data-driven pipelines.
