Mass Timber Specialist

Role Description Mass Timber Specialist are responsible for being the key point of contact with our customers, developing relationships with customers and key influencers in the commercial construction industry to expand SmartLam’s presence in the market as a tier one mass timber supplier. This position requires a self-motivated personality that can work in a collaborative team environment and perform the following responsibilities: - Develop the strategy for delivering sales quota in designated territory with National Sales Manager that utilizes SmartLam estimating, engineering, and sales tools. - Develop relationships with developers, architects, engineers, and contractors to position SmartLam as the preferred mass timber supplier for a project. - Responding to RFP and bid requests for projects by preparing and assembling the appropriate documents requested. - Leading Bid Kick Off meetings and clearly communicating to SmartLam estimating team scope of work to be included in estimate with all value engineering alternates. - Leading Project Kick Off meetings and clearly communicating to SmartLam project management team scope of work sold and customers expectations for SmartLam to deliver. - Architectural and structural evaluation of projects for value engineering options that align with SmartLam product offerings and production capabilities. - Corresponding with customers and providing SmartLam product and design information. - Evaluate project leads and determine which qualify to be pursued as opportunities. - Medium travel for trade shows/conferences, performing lunch-and-learns, meeting face-to-face with design team members, hosting plant tours and participating in project interviews. - Prepare budgets for projects in early stages of design. - Present quote to customer, determining action items needed from SmartLam to close order. - Proactively update ZOHO CRM. Qualifications - BA/BS degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred. - Design experience with mass timber or technical sales experience (2 plus years preferred). - Strong communication skills – effective listening, technical writing, public speaking. - Ability to prioritize tasks and time to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously. - Comfortable acting without being told and making “best guess” decisions when needed. - Competitive with a need to win that can work with a team built to support them. - Able to think outside the box to position SmartLam in the best position to win projects. Role Description We are looking for a self-driven Education Technology Specialist with deep expertise in Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI). Role Description The E-Billing Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of invoice submissions via various e-billing platforms and resolving e-billing issues for the law firm's e-billed clients.
