Senior Project Manager

Role Description The Senior Project Manager leads enterprise-level projects while owning and advancing the Bank’s Project Management Office (PMO), including governance, policy, and portfolio management. This role ensures disciplined project execution, effective project intake and prioritization, and compliance with regulatory expectations while supporting organizational change and strategic initiatives. - Lead and manage the selection, training, development and performance of the project team with a focus on operational efficiency, job knowledge, performance proficiency, client service, team support and compliance. - Lead and manage large-scale, high-impact projects across diverse banking domains, including mergers and acquisitions, technology integrations, regulatory compliance initiatives, solution launches and banking center openings/closures. - Conduct regular evaluation of project status to ensure alignment with objectives and milestones. Facilitate the identification of risks and obstacles and development of appropriate mitigation solutions. - Monitor and manage issue tracking and resolution within and around the project, elevating and communicating issues and roadblocks as needed. - Monitor and track key project metrics, reporting progress, addressing deviations, and recommending corrective actions. - Manage the enterprise project intake process, including submission, documentation, and initial evaluation. - Implement and enforce PMO policy and procedures. - Work with senior leadership to prioritize, select (slate), and sequence projects based on strategic alignment, risk, capacity, and business value. - Establish and deliver executive-level reporting on project and portfolio performance metrics. - Establish, track, and report on key project metrics, risks, issues and key decisions. - Manage full project lifecycle: complete and defensible project documentation, scope, schedule, budget, risks, resources, and outcomes; ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives. - Manage and facilitate the Bank’s Project Management Office (PMO) including governance structure, operating model, and ongoing maturity development. - Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance the PMO effectiveness, reporting tools, and delivery methodologies. - Develop, document, train and implement project management best practices into the culture and project delivery workflows in alignment with our project management governance and standards, to include policy, procedures and processes. - Evaluate and engage with required third party vendors and align vendors with current project plans. Qualifications - Proficiency with professional project management applications, such as MS Project or equivalent. - Strong team leadership skills with experience leading effective work teams and facilitating desired outcomes. - Effective supervisory and employee management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as a team member. - Good judgement, decision making and problem-solving skills. - Professional demeanor and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms. - Strong client service and stakeholder management skills. - Effective business writing and presentation skills. - Aptitude for detail and organization. - Computer proficiency, including internet browsers and Microsoft Office Suite products. - Ability to perform essential job functions independently, under minimal supervision. - Proficiency at speaking, reading and writing English. Requirements - Seven years of experience leading the development and oversight of large enterprise projects (budgets => $500k) for companies in a service industry. - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. Role Description The Senior Project Manager, Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for leading the end-to-end planning and execution of high-impact initiatives, with a primary focus on a multi-year diagnostic imaging upgrade and/or conversion initiative. This role serves as the central point of accountability for managing the application lifecycle, overseeing implementation, and coordinating complex vendor engagements across multiple facilities simultaneously. The Senior Project Manager partners with various stakeholders throughout the CHS organization (corporate and facility level) and external vendors to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time and within scope. They apply deep knowledge of diagnostic imaging in the healthcare setting to drive execution, mitigate technical risks, and support project management best practices across the team.
