Support Engineer
TOMIA
• Provide remote support for TOMIA’s Network Services software • Handle T2-3-3+ tickets • Install, integrate, and configure solutions • Analyze system outputs in relation to client requirements • Produce detailed feature request documents • Perform troubleshooting and debugging on system issues • Document customer issues in tracking tool • Ensure time tracking accuracy for cost charging purposes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Telecommunications/Computer Science
- 0-1 years in the Telecommunications industry
- 0-1 years’ experience in a technical support role
- Knowledge of OS – Linux and Windows
- Knowledge of Linux shell scripting
- Knowledge of Database– ORACLE
- Knowledge of GSM [MAP Signaling], CAMEL, ISUP, Sigtran, SIP, SS7
- Diameter Protocols (Gx, Gy) – a strong advantage
- Client-facing experience
- English Language proficiency, written and verbal
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to juggle/prioritize multiple tasks
- Willingness to travel abroad
