Role Description The consultant will be embedded within the Central Medical Store to support the Government of Nepal in strengthening immunization supply chain systems in line with National Immunization program operations, Gavi priorities, and CCEOP objectives. The assignment will focus on improving the performance, reliability, and visibility of vaccine and immunization commodity management across the national system. - Support end-to-end vaccine supply chain functions, including stock management, forecasting and quantification, and coordinated distribution to subnational levels to ensure uninterrupted availability of vaccines and related commodities. - Emphasize strengthening data quality, real-time monitoring, and the use of digital systems such as PAMS to enhance evidence-based decision-making. - Contribute to improving system efficiency and accountability by reinforcing monitoring and reporting of key supply chain performance indicators, including stock status, distribution, and wastage, in alignment with national guidelines and Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) standards. - Provide targeted technical assistance and on-the-job capacity building to government counterparts to improve vaccine management practices, cold chain operations, and inventory control systems.
