Role Description Symbria Rx Services is seeking a team oriented, experienced Senior Pharmacy Data Entry Technician who shares our commitment to ensuring the health and wellness of seniors. The primary purpose of this position is computer data entry of prescription orders and medical records. - Swing shift ranging from 5:30AM to 10:00PM EST. - Rotating weekends and holidays. Those hours will depend on needs. - FrameWorks LTC Experience required, Docutrack preferred. - Must currently live in a state Symbria Rx Services is licensed in: AZ, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, MA, MI, MO, PA, OH, WI. Responsibilities include: - Contact physician’s office as needed for refill authorization. - Contact client for verification of orders as needed. - Process all new and refill prescriptions. - Open orders as needed, verify eligibility, proof and input prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards. - Document correspondence and follow up in the system. - Prepare audit sheets and provide feedback to manager. - Forward incomplete or rejected scripts to appropriate department for resolution and track status in the system. - Initiate and document correspondence and follow up in system. - May assist with research of lost or missing orders per internal department requests. - May provide backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels. - Answer incoming calls promptly and provide high standard of customer service to the client. Qualifications - High School diploma or general education degree (GED). - Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements. - Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred. - Frameworks and Docutrack experience preferred. - Ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - Pharmacy data entry experience; minimum one year preferred. - Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology. • Lead, coach, and develop Pharmacy Clinical Account Managers and/or Pharmacy Account Executives • Lead pharmacy strategy for the assigned market in alignment with corporate and local objectives • Develop and execute market-specific pharmacy business and service plans to support financial goals • Partner closely with Medical Sales leadership to support integrated sales and retention strategies • Serve as the market lead pharmacy subject matter expert for clients, brokers, and consultants • Retain the assigned book of business through proactive portfolio management and PBM pricing expertise • Support new sales and renewals by leading pharmacy RFP, pricing, and finalist strategies • Drive adoption of pharmacy programs and solutions that lower total cost of care • Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and team resource alignment • Ensure successful new client implementations, renewals, and benefit plan changes • Act as escalation point for complex pharmacy issues in partnership with Service Operations • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and enterprise partners • Represent Cigna Pharmacy Management in market strategy meetings and local industry events

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work from home, assisting patients in receiving life-sustaining medications to help manage rare and/or chronic diseases. You’ll be empowered to engage patients, insurance companies, and multiple departments to process prescription orders and ensure timely shipment of medications. This role is very detail-oriented, and you’ll spend the majority of your day working on our computer system entering data and/or talking on the phone. Shift available: Monday-Friday with an 8 hour shift between the hours of 8:00am-8:00pm local time. Role Responsibilities: - Inbound calls and outbound calls welcoming and gathering patient demographics and arranging 1st shipment. - Creating requests and making outbound calls to providers and doctors' offices for prescription requests. - Data entry focused functions. - Ensure prescriptions are accurately entered into the system. - Investigate non-clinical issues with pharmacists, doctors & other healthcare providers. - Juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail. Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED. - 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience required; phone experience is a plus. - Valid Pharmacy Technician license or trainee license in the state of AZ or PA. - Tech Savvy - Strong computer/data entry ability with Microsoft Office products. - High speed internet with wired ethernet connection. - Private & quiet workspace. Requirements - You will be required to have reliable internet connectivity provided through a wired ethernet connection. - A mobile or hotspot environment is not acceptable and you may need to purchase an Ethernet cord depending on your current setup. - If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. • Utilizes evidence based tools to evaluate the prescribed medications to ensure patient safety and quality standards are in alignment with best practice standards. • Performs clinical assessment via information in pharmacy reports and case files; assesses client's situation to include psychosocial needs, cultural implications and support systems in place. • Evaluates patient drug usage and physician prescribing patterns. • Evaluates overuse, underuse and misuse of prescribed medications and may recommend testing to determine if drug diversion is present. • Evaluates need for and recommends alternative treatment. • Sends letters as needed to prescribing physician(s) and refers to physician advisor as necessary. • Negotiates appropriate level and intensity of care through use of medical and disability duration guidelines, adhering to quality assurance standards. • Negotiates changes in pharmacy plan with providers. • Acts as a resource in consulting with the client, nursing staff and claims examiners regarding pharmacy issues. • Performs drug utilization reviews through the pharmacy benefit manager or vendor. • Communicates effectively with claims examiner, client, vendor, supervisor and other parties as needed. • Maintains client's privacy and confidentiality; promotes client safety and advocacy; and adheres to ethical, legal, accreditation and regulatory standards.
