Role Description The Commercial Processor is responsible for Loan Processing/Servicing for the Commercial/Consumer Loan Department. This position is responsible for creating and ensuring the accuracy of commercial loan documentation and accurately booking the loan into the core banking system in a timely manner. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong interoffice communication skills. Qualifications - Associate’s degree or degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field required. - Commercial loan processing experience required. - Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation, loan servicing, and regulatory requirements. - Demonstrates initiative by researching and learning new processes with minimal direction. - Strong customer service, organizational, and computer skills. - Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through. - Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - Prepare, book, detail and maintain commercial loan files. - Prepare, book, detail and maintain consumer loan files. - Prepare, book, detail and maintain BHG loan files. - Verify the underwriting of loan files. - Balance and prepare closing document packages. - Set up payment method (i.e. coupon book, auto transfer). - Ensure all titles, mortgages, UCC, and pertinent documentation requirements are met, and loan is properly recorded with county and state offices. - Set up loan participations with participant banks. - Scan and verify loan files. - Other duties as assigned.
