Indiana Wesleyan University’s School of Integrated Learning and Development (SILD) invites applications for a dynamic, innovative, and mission-driven Full-Time Faculty member in Special Education. This position will provide academic leadership for the Special Education curriculum, guide CEC SPA accreditation and recognition processes in both Indiana and Ohio, and play a pivotal role in launching and sustaining a new 90-credit hour Bachelor of Education in Special Education. We are seeking a forward-thinking educator who embraces creativity, innovation, and transformative design in teacher preparation. The ideal candidate demonstrates deep expertise in Special Education, fluency in curriculum design frameworks including mastery, competency, standards, and outcomes-based models; as well as instructional approaches such as differentiated instruction and project, inquiry, and experiential-based learning, along with the strategic use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to advance teaching effectiveness, candidate development, and program innovation.
