• Managing a statewide bankruptcy caseload • Preparing and filing motions, pleadings, and key documents • Conducting Chapter 13 Plan Reviews and drafting Objections • Attending court hearings (virtual and in-person) • Acting as a liaison between the firm, clients, courts, and trustees • Handling time-sensitive escalations and updating client systems
Job Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active New York Bar Membership in good standing
- 3+ years of Bankruptcy experience preferred (Chapter 7, 11, 13)
- Comfort with high-volume, deadline driven environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed for court appearances
- Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality
- Bonus: Experience in real estate, mortgage, or commercial litigation
