Senior Engineering Manager

Sift Healthcare

• Lead and manage a team of engineers. • Own the design and delivery of Sift's SMART on FHIR applications. • Champion AI-driven development across the team. • Partner with data engineering on the Python, dbt, and SQL pipelines. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize engineering initiatives. • Drive the implementation of best practices across the engineering team. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior frontend or full-stack engineering role, with deep hands-on expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience building SMART on FHIR applications.
  • Hands-on fluency with AI coding agents and AI-powered product development.
  • Experience managing and leading a team of engineers.
  • Familiarity with HL7 v2 messaging and healthcare interoperability standards is preferred.
