Director, Gas Asset Performance
Divert
• Serve as the enterprise owner for the performance of Divert's biogas and renewable natural gas (RNG) assets across all operating facilities. • Responsible for maximizing asset availability, methane recovery, gas quality, safety, and lifecycle value by partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and external technology partners. • Provide strategic technical leadership, drive continuous improvement, establish enterprise standards, and ensure Divert's gas assets achieve best-in-class performance. • Own the enterprise strategy for gas handling and RNG assets. • Partner closely with Operations and Maintenance to improve RNG performance. • Establish and track performance metrics and benchmarks across all operating facilities. • Develop the long-term roadmap for gas asset performance. • Lead root cause investigations for major production losses and equipment failures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of experience supporting, operating, maintaining, optimizing, or commissioning industrial gas handling, RNG, biogas, or comparable process facilities.
- Demonstrated success improving operational performance across multiple facilities.
- Experience influencing cross-functional organizations without direct authority.
- Experience managing OEMs, engineering consultants, specialty contractors, and technology vendors.
- Strong understanding of industrial asset management, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and lifecycle planning.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and business acumen with the ability to translate technical issues into operational and capital priorities.
