Adviser Associate

Hunt St

• Prepare strategic advice briefs before client meetings. • Review client information, previous advice documents, and CRM records. • Develop financial strategy recommendations with the adviser. • Prepare detailed paraplanning briefs for external paraplanners. • Draft simple Records of Advice (ROAs) where appropriate. • Review Statements of Advice (SOAs) and ROAs for quality, accuracy, and compliance. • Monitor the progress of advice documents from preparation through implementation. • Review implementation paperwork before submission. • Update and maintain client records in Xplan. • Liaise with advisers, paraplanners, product providers, and clients as required. • Support continuous process improvements, including the use of AI tools and automation. • Mentor junior team members as the business grows.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an Australian financial planning environment as an Adviser Associate, Senior Paraplanner, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian financial planning, including:
  • Superannuation
  • Retirement planning
  • Investments
  • Centrelink
  • Insurance
  • Experience using Xplan.
  • Ability to prepare strategy recommendations and review advice documents.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements within Australian financial advice.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
