Account Executive, Wholesale-HSF National Sales
Hyatt
• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of wholesale accounts while developing new business opportunities within the vertical. • Build and maintain deep account intelligence, including key buyers, influencers, distribution model, source markets, customer mix, seasonality, contracting needs, production history, competitive set, and next steps. • Develop and execute account plans that support revenue growth across leisure, transient, group, package, extended stay, and project-based business. • Prospect and qualify new wholesale, tour operator, receptive operator, travel distributor, bed bank, consortia, and related accounts with potential for Hyatt hotels. • Educate wholesale buyers on Hyatt brands, hotel capabilities, destination fit, rate structures, service standards, and solutions relevant to their business needs. • Partner with hotel sales teams, operators, revenue management, distribution, and commercial stakeholders to align customer opportunities with hotel priorities and profitability goals. • Support customer negotiations, contracting conversations, hotel communication, and opportunity follow-up with urgency and strong attention to detail. • Stay current on wholesale travel trends, source market dynamics, booking windows, demand patterns, market conditions, forecasts, and competitive intelligence. • Use CRM, sourcing platforms, analytics, and industry tools to document activity, prioritize opportunities, and measure account performance. • Champion Hyatt initiatives and priorities with wholesale customers as appropriate, including new hotel openings, focus hotels, Essentials brands, and special initiatives. • Elevate the voice of the wholesale customer within Hyatt and participate in cross-functional projects that support National Sales priorities. • Coordinate account transitions, hotel referrals, and opportunity handoffs to support strong execution across Hyatt teams.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hotel sales, hospitality sales, account management, wholesale sales, travel trade sales, or related commercial experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with wholesale, tour operator, receptive operator, travel distributor, consortia, bed bank, or related travel trade accounts.
- Strong understanding of wholesale market dynamics, including contracting, distribution models, source markets, booking patterns, rate integrity, customer expectations, and hotel profitability considerations.
- Strong sales knowledge and business development experience across transient, leisure, group, package, extended stay, and/or project-based business.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts while also developing new business opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and follow-through skills.
- Detailed organization skills with the ability to manage multiple customers, priorities, opportunities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM and/or database management tools.
- Knowledge of customer sourcing, booking, contracting, or distribution tools and platforms used in hotel sales, wholesale travel, or travel trade environments.
- Experience with industry data tools such as Knowland Group, Amadeus Hotelligence Suite, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
