Role Description The Senior HRIS Analyst, well-versed in multiple software systems and an expert in Ceridian Dayforce, manages company-wide responsibility for the HRIS system and serves as a key member within the Human Capital Management team. The Senior HRIS Analyst leads the ongoing support and maintenance of the Ceridian Dayforce Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and provides expertise to support other HR-related systems. - Serves as the Ceridian Dayforce HRIS application system administrator (i.e. maintain system configuration, coordinate system upgrades) - Serves as a super-user for HRIS for data entry, updates, troubleshooting, reports generation - Analyzes, designs and builds ad hoc complex reports and documents - Provides specialized HRIS support and development services for human resources related applications - Provides production support for new and existing applications/interfaces and identifies and resolves applications and systems issues - Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing applications and systems, develops strategies for improving or further leveraging these HR applications and systems, and identifies potential risks and dependencies between applications, systems and business processes - Identifies and presents solutions to improve utilization and efficiencies of various application and systems, providing recommendations to streamline various HR processes - Performs application design, configuration, and integration, and assists in the improvement of existing applications and the deployment of new applications - Plans, designs, and implements additions, upgrades, replacements, or retirement of applications including database management - Oversees and performs tests for existing and new applications, including user acceptance testing and delivery of training to end users - Assists in maintenance, troubleshooting, and design of HRIS and other human resources computer applications and systems - Actively participates in the analysis and implementation of solutions related to data integrity and consistency - Creates, maintains, and monitors accurate workflows and forms within the system - Collaborates in preparation and delivery of system training to management and employees - Works collaboratively with systems vendors, finance (payroll), and other departments to fulfill systemic needs and assure accurate and manageable data - Creates and documents Standard Operating Procedures - Leads, supports, and assists with projects as assigned - Researches and maintains up-to-date knowledge regarding use of Dayforce and other related HCM products and business operations practice and procedures - Manages projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality - Completes special projects as assigned Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Information Technology or related discipline - At least 5 years’ experience in Ceridian Dayforce and Ceridian Dayforce configuration - Advanced knowledge and understanding of payroll and/or HRIS systems, report writing, and presentation skills - Strong acumen of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word and expertise in report writing - Experience with Ultimate Software a strong plus - Experience in HR Analytics and cloud-based Document Management - Experience in Project Management and Systems Implementation - Ability to research and solve functional problems as it relates to user experience - Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with management across various departments and responsibilities - Ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities while paying strong attention to detail while leveraging an analytical aptitude - Demonstrated organizational, critical thinking, interpersonal, planning, problem solving, and business analytical skills - Ability to present findings and translate data into legible documents - Able to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas - Highly organized and able to manage time well and meet deadlines - Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretely handle sensitive and confidential information - Ability to work effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location, and high growth environment while delivering high levels of quality and customer service Benefits - Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage - Wellness program supporting overall well-being - Company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance - 401(k) plan with company match - Tuition reimbursement opportunities - Paid time off for vacation and illness - Six paid company holidays - Floating holiday - Company-paid training and computer equipment - Performance-based bonus program - Paid time off for volunteer activities - Employee referral bonus program - Career development and training opportunities, including leadership growth
