Lead Android Mobile Engineer

Role Description As a member of an agile squad, responsible for implementing new features and enabling capabilities using modern software engineering tools and practices. Duties and Responsibilities - Implement new features while maintaining overall quality of software - Contribute to a culture of learning by documenting and sharing technical knowledge as a developer on an agile squad - Participate in developer communities of practice by following best practices, participating in code reviews, and sharing knowledge - Remain current on relevant technology trends - Participate in researching and resolving customer issues - Other duties as assigned Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable with 2 - 3 years of software development experience - Strong problem-solving skills - Knowledge of object-oriented design and development experience with one or more of the following programming languages: - Android Compose - Core Data / Networking / Grand Central Dispatch (concurrent programming) - Accessibility best practices - Experience with version control solutions, preferably Git/GitHub - Experience with any of the following, a plus: - UX/UI design principles, Apple Human Interface Guidelines - AWS services - Docker - Gradle - Node.js - Java (8 or above) - Spring Framework - Spring Boot - Microservice design principles - Familiarity with relational databases and SQL Requirements - Lead Android Mobile Engineer - Total Base Pay Range: 80,500.00 - 169,100.00 USD Annual Benefits At Fifth Third, we understand the importance of recognizing our employees for the role they play in improving the lives of our customers, communities and each other.
